About Us

At FOOD BANK HEROES, our mission is to strengthen the reach and effectiveness of food banks, both locally and in Less Developed Countries. We achieve this by fortifying their supply chains with robust and climate-smart warehousing, logistics, and technology solutions. Through these efforts, we aim to make a lasting impact in the fight against hunger, ensuring that communities around the world have access to the nourishment they need.
At least 2.4 billion people face food insecurity and close to 735 million people are affected by hunger.
Recognizing the vital role that food banks play in addressing hunger and food insecurity in the USA and globally,
our initiative focuses on empowering them with the expertise and resources needed to optimize their collection, storage, and distribution operations.

What We Do

At FOOD BANK HEROES, our commitment is to combat hunger on a global scale. We work hand in hand with food banks, both domestically and in Less Developed Countries, to fortify their supply chains. Through strategic partnerships, we provide:
  • Building Sustainable Infrastructure: We actively engage in the construction or redesign of climate-smart warehousing infrastructure, ensuring that food banks have the physical capacity to store and distribute food efficiently. By constructing robust storage spaces, we contribute to the long-term sustainability of these organizations, allowing them to better serve their communities.

  • Enhancing Mobility Solutions: Understanding the importance of swift and efficient distribution, we are committed to facilitating the acquisition of mobility solutions. Whether through the provision of vehicles or the implementation of streamlined transportation logistics, our logistics expertise empowers food banks to reach communities in need promptly.

  • Integrating Cutting-edge Technology: We facilitate access to or implement state-of-the-art technology solutions to enhance inventory management, volunteer management, and improve overall operational efficiency.
